It could cost them their life, or what few assets they may have left. It's coming, folks. Give this shit another couple of weeks, and you won't be able to buy a loaf of bread in a city of any size. My take is that in a city being burned down by enemies foreign and domestic, it would not be a good idea to stay open. However, in other areas of the country or state where chaos is not ensuing, and especially in times where riots are not even happening but businesses are still forced to close to 'stop spreading the virus,' people should be able to open their business as a form of protest. Just definitely don't stay open during a riot lol [link to www.youtube.com (secure)] Satire is one of the few forms of protected speech we can use to, well, speak. If enough people violate a law then they can’t enforce it. Based on the failures of our government over the past year - at all levels, not only trumps fault - I think my form of protest is going to be to not pay anything but my town property taxes. Fuck the rest of them. But it only works if so many people use it as a form of protest that they can’t do anything. For example, one guy looting by himself is going to get caught and arrested, even if he’s got black skin. But >30 black protestors can’t be stopped. Thirty million angry taxpayers couldn’t be stopped either. FOOLIO |

Yes, i posted about this when the lockdown started. The government can't say what any form of protest is and you cant deny someone a right even though it's happened more in the last 3 months than any time in history. |

We got my mothers business open the 3rd week in. We wasn't listening to Dewines shit and opened. Local health officials did show up and we told them we would be opening again tomorrow, she literally said they wont be back but law enforcement will. Well, they came, there is no law so we stayed open, they cant enforce policy or requests, they can only enforce laws. Two days later the health department called and said we could be open. Well would ya look at that, someone flexing their rights to unlawful orders got to open their business. Last Edited by Mist Walker on 06/04/2020 08:12 AM |

You will be arrested. They are still harassing people in NY and LA for covid violations while there are riots two blocks away. The police will arrest you if you are law abiding, non violent and white because you pose no danger. If you're a minority who is violent, you can do whatever you want and you'll be left alone. Because police can't be put in danger. |
