Used to be it was just a rural college town, but no more. “Queen Sarah, save us from the Black Dog King!” - from the play, Dissocia [link to tasaonline.org.au (secure)] "Never be anyone's French poodle." - Mr Hamilton |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 73649866 United States 06/12/2020 04:15 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | There's been a million of these types of posts over the years. I don't care what feeling you had when you woke up, you don't see me posting a thread every time I wake up and have a bowel movement do you? You are about as psychic as my left testicle. Your 'feeling' means absolutely nothing. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 78344037 I agree 100%. I'm tired of almost daily posts saying "I'm SCARED SOME BODY HELPPP"! FFS you cowards are already on your knees. not everyone with gut feeling is coward. such people can be valuable. "My Grandmother had this deep seeded gut feeling for several months back in 1944. Family and friends thought she needed a doctor and said all kinds of hurtful things to her. One morning the feeling was so strong that she gathered her children and grabbed a few items of food and left for the mountains. Exactly 5 hours later the entire village was bombed and 80% died. Those working in the fields survived. BUT all the children in the school, the villages entire group of children were killed." Not correct. I was anxious, on edge, couldn't focus on work, paced up and down in my office all through Dec '19. Not saying I "knew" covid was coming, but my "spidey" sense was tingly, something was wrong. Having had several premonitive experiences in my life, I totally believe people (all people, its just most have suppressed this ability) have the ability to somehow get an intuitive feeling of high probability future events, "a feeling of doom" But other posters are correct, before SHTF, its fine, but now things are crazy, its hard to say is my intuition correct, or am I being influenced by media. For example, a couple of weeks back I suddenly had an overwhelming urge to focus on self-defense. Despite living in Africa, this has never bothered me before (even when there were two shootings in my area, insides jobs at businesses as always), regardless of media, its really pretty safe in general. But I could not shake this, the thought/feeling dominated every waking moment. But was it just paranoia from media or a real feeling? Anyway I took some actions (and still am but the feeling has subsided somewhat), and then a week later someone had cut my outer fence and used the abandoned pig house to watch my neighbor (I never engaged them, I found footprints and cut fence next day). Then a week later these riots started. Was it related to this? I don't know, I have never been in danger, but there is something to a persons intuition, I believe that more and more each day now. |
