Never disappointing and always first class. +5 as you already have green this week. Until your military service has required you neutralize enemy combatants and invaders in the defense of your country, don't presume to tell us that have defended you that you don't support every shot we fired to eliminate that enemy. |

Flat Earth User ID: 76044557 United States 06/24/2020 06:02 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Here are the video clips I've captured so far this week of the SpaceX Dragon capsule Endeavour docked to ISS. You can see Endeavour as a small white object attached to the forward pressurized mating adapter situated between the Kibo and Columbus laboratories on the front of the station. I have one more opportunity to get a video of it on Friday morning, but the viewing will only last for about a minute so I'll probably just record it offline and upload it later rather than stream it like I did the last two times. Space is fake and Earth is flat. You wasted your time on NASA bullshit. |

Quoting: Astromut They have to rename the Columbus Laboratory, or it will be torn down by BLM in Space. I recommend they rename it to Wakanda Laboratory. Good job Astro! Pretty impressive work Astro! Always interesting to see your homegrown capabilities in practice. Do you have any sense as to whether SpaceX has extended their technical lead to the point where their dominance will persist? In other words, will commercial competitors be able to mount a real challenge going forward? Be civil to all; sociable to many; familiar with few; friend to one; enemy to none. Benjamin Franklin |

I think ULA is content with competing exclusively for government contracts rather than trying to capture or recapture any of the commercial market. New space companies could eventually offer competition though. I think it's still quite plausible that Blue Origin could offer real competition to SpaceX eventually. They certainly have enough money to throw at the problem from Jeff Bezos' pockets. They have a very different approach to the development cycle. SpaceX is very much a test and fail until they get it right type of company whereas Blue Origin is more about slow and steady progress until they succeed. They don't make as much noise in the media, at least not yet, but when New Glenn starts to fly I think people will sit up and pay attention. ULA believes in the engine for that rocket enough that they are buying it themselves for their own next generation Vulcan rocket. |

Yea, new Glenn, will be the only commercial competitor once they get flying but since their first stage is also designed to land vertically, I think they have a lot of testing to ensure they can accomplish this feat and catch up to SpaceX. They might be too far behind the curve to catch up though. |
