Quoting: Lily o' the Valley In the survey released on June 23 and conducted with members of the Brussels-based International Federation of Journalists (IFJ) in 58 countries and territories, two-thirds of respondents said China was creating a “visible presence” in their national media. There are also “clear signs” of Beijing targeting journalists in developing countries, such as those in Latin America, with ineffective or repressive governments, according to the organization. Among Beijing’s key goals is pushing for favorable coverage about its grand infrastructure initiative, the Belt and Road Initiative, the IFJ found. The regime has offered special training programs, such as ten months of journalism training at prestigious Chinese universities. The organization called the strategy “borrowing a boat to reach the ocean”: Beijing is outsourcing propaganda to non-Chinese media platforms to extend the reach of its talking points, while disguising the roots of such content. Half of the respondents have traveled on sponsored trips to China designed to show positive aspects of the country; 36 percent of journalism unions surveyed said they were asked to sign cooperation agreements with a Chinese entity; while more than a third of them reported content-sharing partnerships with Chinese journalism unions and other outlets. Beijing is also seeking direct control over its messaging infrastructure, the IFJ said, by acquiring foreign media outlets and setting up large-scale joint media ventures overseas. [link to www.theepochtimes.com (secure)] China should know that this is a 90% non-white world. 7 billion non-whites view China favourably, though not sharing socialist or communist ideology, because of China's contribution to non-whites struggle against white oppression and exploitation. China's position is excellent, and should exploit it. It can form a form of alliance with Africa and India, they do favour to China, and China does favour to them. USA practiced that in the West. |

Take your talking points elsewhere. China is not going to form an alliance with India because once again, they are at the brink of war. Africa? Africans hate the Chinese. The only way China gains power is if they buy it through "projects", which after a couple of decades of attempted colonization of Africa, have fallen apart due to shoddy construction, or ceased construction, leaving the Africans with broken down hiways that end 2 miles out of town and a big resentment. *** Good deeds bring rewards, bad actions bring troubles. That is a law of the universe. *** |

Ha ha, that is CIA propaganda. Lot of anti-China CIA propaganda here. Africa - China relations are OK, as are India - China. Alliance with the two makes sense because they are huge, also through alliance with Africa China gains friends in part of the USA population and in the Caribbean. |
