I'm kind of shocked at the lack of comments.

I guess my perspective may be different than many.

I cannot "out" myself as a Republican or a Conservative here in California.

There is NO "protection" for my right to live on the right.

I live behind enemy lines where I can be assailed freely for speaking freely. Yet, if I speak my mind I can find myself in Human Resources with the prospect of losing my job.

I can't talk about being a proud supporter of the 2nd Amendment, but I must be quiet as I'm forced to listen to idiots and assholes assail gun owners as "racists" and "nuts".

Watching this shows me that people are done being treated as such. I saw people in this that live very similar lives to me and my family and they are taking great, great risk to simply be FREE. People are ready to take risks.

I've been thinking about why it is that people on the right have not gone out and counter protested in violent manner to stop the leftist/socialist/communist/anarchist idiots who are out there emboldened by their political enablers to do such damage lately.

Aside from the fact that we work, we love our lives, we love this country and we love our freedom so much we don't want to risk losing any of that. So, we don't act out.

I've come to the realization that, by nature, we on the right respect the rule of law. We respect that rule so much that we find it difficult to take the law into our own hands and become violent in opposition to the war that the left is perpetrating on us.

This saying keeps going through my head lately...

Those of us who respect the country also have been taught to respect people in general. But with that comes a hesitation to speak our truth. Liberals are much bolder and louder and my Grandpa taught me that the "squeaky wheel" gets the grease. We are allowing the loud voices of others to drown us out and with that, we are losing our nation. We have to get bold, be wise, and stop being afraid.

Well said OP. Glad I live in a region where it's safe to have either view but I completely understand the intimidation factor some of you live under. It's as unfair and Un-American as it gets. I never dreamed people would lose jobs for liking tweets or other such ridiculous shit. There are many, many more just like yourself out there waiting for a sign. You will know when it's time to act because you won't be able to avoid it. It will be swift and furious beyond imagination, the frustration of people pushed beyond their limits. Our time will come. Stay in shape, stay in practice and pray we don't have to do what may be inevitable. It won't be on our hands, that's for sure.

I am a republican and an agnostic so I dont really care what verses he does know from the bible. While I appreciate and respect people's beliefs I dont let it define who they are unless that is all they are.

Everyone around me knows where I stand. I'm a solid conservative that believes in God, the US Constitution and our rights. I love my wife, family and friends. It sickens me that abortion is legal. It sickens me that the young people in the streets have been brainwashed by older and wiser professors of communism and people like me have ignored it while we work our buts off to provide for our families. It sickens me that portions of my taxes go to undeserving leaches who are more than capable of taking care of themselves.

As a residential home contractor, I do not have the time to go out and protest. I can't afford to even be sick! I guess that answers your comment on where are we and why aren't we fighting back. I also have to watch my mouth depending on the client.

Here's the thing, if the violence that the left is perpetrating on us continues unabated throughout the summer and fall without any intervention from the POTUS, we are lost. He has to quell this nonsense. If not, then yes, we will have to start fighting back. I'm shocked, to be honest, that our society hasn't broken down yet. Not, just the gangs/looting shit, but everything. It will then be up to us to handle our affairs. Just like the old west...
