Thanks to Cuomo's handling of covid, I had a relative die. For more detail, this person specifically was already in a nursing home suffering with dementia.

They were in a nursing home that ended up used for covid patients also, without proper measures to prevent spread.

This person died because of that. They eventually tested for it, had trouble breathing, intubated, and voila. Dead.

It's my understanding the relative was pretty bad off with dementia, so death was nearing. Not that that's an excuse, at all, but he was beyond in-home care from his spouse.

So there you have it. Yes, people die. Is it from the virus? I wouldn't be able to say. For all I know, it was from the medications and the intubation.

I didn't know the relative very well, it's a close relative of my grandma, so more like cousin twice removed sort of thing.
