Definitely a publicity stunt. Tom Hanks being the first big name to "test positive" is also very suspicious.

Hanks testing positive for the virus came out around
March/April...so does anyone think that the "fall-out"
coming up (and for sure Hanks would be privy to this) with
Dan Brown's contentious divorce revelations (Blythe Brown,
Dan Brown's angry wife claims MOST OF BROWN'S NOVELS WERE
WRITTEN BY HER!)

Hanks wouldn't want any of the dust "flying around the
Dan Brown/Blythe Brown divorce allegations" landing on
his squeaky clean reputation...and this was to generate
some fan sympathy votes before the shit hit the fan about
Brown. But that's just my "take."

Anyone else think this "guilty by association/image tarnishing"
may be behind the COVID-19 publicity stunt? Also...this
image was tweeted around the time of the Hanks revelation
they had contracted COVID-10...and everyone thought it was
odd. But if you consider that a TYPEWRITER would be a
good symbol for "writing a novel" and in the back ground
to the typewriter we see a SINK...that message might be
that "The Brown's divorce scandal might "SINK" the Brown's
novels.) Check out that image in Twitter Hanks published
without explanation in March/April (supposedly from his
hospital room with the virus:)

I'm thinking that is what Hanks was trying to tell us...
but as someone who has been richly rewarded for his part
in "The DaVinci Code" it would be inappropriate for Hanks
to comment...but obviously, Hanks knew something about
Blythe Brown's work on the novel without having been given
credit.
