I live in a LA suburb. I can assure you that it was going off last night. We always have lots of illegal fireworks, but nothing close to what I witnessed last night. The number of big booms was just off the charts. It just kept rolling from 7 pm until I went to bed at 11.

My town has fireworks the Saturday before the fourth because the fourth isn’t always on the weekend. Big crowd. No drama. People set their own off last night. So we really have two nights of fireworks.
