Then paper companies have the blends and sizes for personal consumer use. When you stop using the shittier blend/bigger roles overnight, and the better blend/smaller role demand doubles/triples, you have a shortage. |

Think about it Aren’t you forgetting that when masks disappeared and hospitals ran dry that nearly every paper product manufacturer was sending materials to mask makers? Not to mention all the ones that cut production due to lack of employees since they laid them off. Paper products don’t just appear on the shelf either. It takes transportation. Some of which was stopped when companies cut positions, again. Our system wasn’t built for this. Our stores rely on just in time delivery. Our delivery drivers have families to care for and jobs that are just as fragile as the rest of us. Paper doesn’t make itself. I understand it may have worked in the favor of certain people and they may have very well taken advantage but I can assure you it wasn’t their choice.
