I'm sorry but as Christians you are not supposed to judge or treat someone engaged in homosexuality any different than any other person. Everyone sins but you don't come into the church and decide your sin is somehow ok and special and therefore Christians just need to accept that. Before I was a Christian I lived a different life but after I had to change. I didn't continue to fight for my old life's equality with my new on. The Bible provides God’s blueprint for marriage and for His good gift of sex in Genesis 2:24. The gift is only to be enjoyed within a marriage between a man and a woman. There are no exceptions suggested, such as homosexual partnerships. From Genesis on, the Bible praises the marriage of a man and a woman. The Old Testament states, “Do not lie with a man as one lies with a woman; that is detestable” (Leviticus 18:22 and 20:13). The New Testament agrees, listing “homosexual offenders” among a list of people who “will not inherit the kingdom of God” unless they are cleansed through Christ (1 Corinthians 6:9-11).

Nothing I've said is or should be skewed as hate or oppressive. I'm not sure how old you are but you come off as angry and hate filled toward Christians and people who hold on to values that whether you want to believe it or not the majority of this country has and still holds. There are ignorant people on the right and left and always will be. The truth is those with values in this country have bent on far too many issues. You may see all of this as progressive but towards what? We are being divided and conquered by people who are using race and sexual orientation as a means to pit Americans against each other and create chaos and disenfranchisement. The silent majority isn't blaming their ill's on LGBTQ. We are watching radicals committing crimes whilst truth, common sense, morals and virtues are being twisted and turned upside down. Everything that has always made America a great nation is being toppled. 99.999% of this country agrees that police brutality is wrong. What we take issue with is the narrative that the US is somehow an awful and racist country that needs to be purged of it's current values. Countries fail unless they fight towards shared values. Shared goals. America has always been great in the sense that we shared common values and love for our country. I'm in my early 30's and I can tell you in one decade we went from an incredibly united country to a country of victims and young people who understand very little about our country and our counties history. This "age of connectivity" has not brought us closer I can promise you. Anyone who was old enough to truly know what it was like before social media and smartphones knows what I'm talking about. When it comes to indoctrinating young people and silencing and canceling the majority it is a masterpiece. The truth is that BLM, Feminist, LGMTQ, and all the other groups that are being used saying they want equality and are demanding it have no idea what comes next. They want equality of outcome not equality of opportunity which is what this country has always offered. In the cases when this country didn't allow for equality of opportunity it was corrected and by whom? White straight men. White straight men in this country as a whole have not been sitting around trying to create systems in which man or woman is not allowed a chance to throw in their hat and be whatever they want to be. We've bent and given and worked out as close as you can get to freedom for all US citizens equality of opportunity and that is why calling us racist and bigots and a racist bigoted country is so incredibly and utterly wrong. When you allow for equality of outcome you regulate and congress creates laws where everything now becomes about that and not about what is best. Instead of who is smartest and who worked hardest it's about the color of your skin or sexual orientation. It creates less fairness and breeds more inequality than equality. In nations where this has been played out the countries have never been more divided. You inherited the greatest country on earth but you obviously know very little about the greatness of our country. Why we have been the superpower people will die in makeshift rafts to get to. What BLM and everyone else is truly trying to do is tear down those things that made us the country we are today. They would purge the spirit and legacy that were the reason France gifted us, the United States of America the Statue of Liberty. Our shared values and way of life along with the American Dream and capitalism were truly the envy of the world. We were the liberators of people and yet all you hear today is how awful we are.
