'Emotional beatdown on daily basis’: 150 Minneapolis police officers seek disability for PTSD over BLM riots

" The ongoing unrest seems to have broken the already exhausted police force as most of the officers seeking disability are veterans of the department with 16 to 23 years of experience. “The symptoms didn’t just start six weeks ago. The city’s police have felt abandoned both by local officials and the community as a whole.

Meuser described the officers’ experience as an “emotional beatdown on a daily basis.”

“I’ve looked them in the eyes, not one of them is attempting to get out of working. Every one of them, to a man and woman, said ‘I never thought I would be leaving this way,’” the attorney added.

If you aren't experiencing uncontrollable TERROR not fear but f-ing TERROR, then you don't know PTSD.

If you aren't awoken every night a 3 AM from night terrors, you don't know PTSD.

If you don't wake up each morning FROM hyperventilation because your cortisol has far overshot, then you don't know PTSD.

If you haven't experienced what you KNOW is irrational terror in your own home pushing you to hide in a corner or closet in search for the slightest feeling of safety, then you don't know PTSD.

If you haven't experienced agoraphobia while you were once an outgoing, successfully productive individual, you don't know PTSD.

If you don't have what might be considered irrational triggers that induce full-on panic attacks, you don't know PTSD.

And guess what? All these symptoms are of PTSD resulting after a physical attack...not war or battlefield or the horrific experiences lived by LE and other first responders.

It's this bullshit that really pisses me off because it weakens the cases for, and harms the perceptions of, those who really do have PTSD and all who really are disabled.

Ya'll are mad at the cops about this, they are giving a big fuck you to the system. They can't do their job anymore after some giving decades of services, ie. actually stopping crime, so I say more power to them and their fake PTSD. Its more of a liberal type of move but wth, they got fucked over by BLMs white masters.

They are giving a big fuck you to a broken system in which they participated and they helped perpetuate. As long as they had authority, they could do as they please inclusive of violating the rights of others and serving as judge and jury, which was not their jobs. They were fine with that.

If any of them were "good cops" who stood next to and silently watched their bad cop "brethren", they were complicit and, in my book, even worse offenders.

By the bye, I am not part of and do not support the terrorist group BLM or ANTIFA or the traitors on the left. But as an a-political with right leaning, paleo-conservative values of Liberty, and a law abiding citizen who has twice had my rights stripped from me from corrupt cops and a broken Judical system that now operates like the mafia, I am the first to the table to work towards draining the swamp and complete reform.

This system is broken and there is not one citizen who is safe or protected under the laws of our land. Not one and it has fuck all to do with race.

Good. The city should be held accountable in as many ways as possible for allowing the riots to persist and allowing officers to be put on trial for a drug addict dying of an overdose.

I hope every one of these officers never has to work again a day in their lives.
