Can you prove gas pressure without a barrier in a vacuum? No one has. That's the end of the globe sun cult, period.

Many videos of rockets not working in a vacuum.

You're retarded. You don't even understand basic Newtonian physics.

He understood it in the 1600's. So you're dumber than someone from the 1600's. hahahha, dumbass.

What abt the gas they use while floating in space 2 turn their slave suits in desired directions?? Doesn't make sense 2 me. Never has. N the gas is not a rocket

Post a link of one YouTube video of a rocket working in a vacuum. What causes suction anyhow? Can you explain? Soon your stupidity will show

I was not who suggested it, but Since you are asking, please watch this and learn something in the process.

Lol. The rocket instantly pressurizes the chamber. It’s not a vacuum if it fills up with smoke. It actually proves the the rocket is being pushed by the external pressure. You see the smoke move in the same direction as the rocket.

This is absolute dumbest statement I have ever read on this topic.

rockets do not work by pushing off of anything. Thats not at all how it works. it does not push off of anything. be it air water or solid surface. Its not pushing against anything..

Its a chemical reaction. every action has an equal and opposite reaction. The same laws applies on earth, in the sky or in outer space.

It is impossible for a spark to form in a vacuum without ion particles between the electrodes.
The supposed vacuum of space 12 orders of magnitude of that produced on Earth. Rockets not work in a vacuum has been proven over and over.

WRONG, chemical reactions can ignite a rocket in vacuum.

You seriously need to learn some science and physics.

In 'somewhat related news' the 'vacuum' version is also a scientific rendering of a parachute on Mars until you hit a hole more than 35km deep as that is when the feather would start to slow down. The deepest known hole is less than 5mn deep.

Might I suggest something a bit closer to home. Canada;s most northern islands have the same weather, with air so why not develop the needed systems there?

I'm entirely unsure who is stupider, the idiot doing this "test" or you the idiot who thinks this proves anything.

You do know that there's a MASSIVE difference between suction and a vacuum right?

There's at least a dozen videos on YouTube at any given time showing actual rocket engines working inside a pumped down vacuum chamber...

You know, an actual REAL test not this kindergarten idiot bullshit.

P.s. I've also personally fired a gun I had inside a vacuum enclosure in the name of science. It worked just fine.

So if guns and rockets both actually work in vacuum Chambers when people test it, the obvious conclusion is that this is a very poorly constructed experiment which no one should use as proof of anything one way or another! (Unless it's being used as proof that whoever did this experiment is a mental defective and needs an adult to take legal guardianship of him)

There's almost too many things Wrong with this "experiment" to even list btw and if I could sue you for the 20 minutes of my life back this interaction is taking me, I would.

What happens when a 100kg person drops a 120kg weight from a height? Does the person get pushed into the air? No because gravity is the force that causes the weight to fall, the person doesn’t push the weight. Similarly, it is pressure gradient force that pushes the exhaust out of the nozzle, not the rocket.

Shit, here I was thinking you actually had a decent understanding and you go and give an analogy like that.

Now, we all know what happens when the rapidly expanding gases are “pushed” out of the nozzle, don’t we?!

If the force in which the exhaust exits the nozzle is greater than the force required to overcome the gravitational force on said rocket, it moves in the opposite direction.

Do you assert that the rocket shouldn’t work because the exhaust gas has no atmosphere to push off of in the “vacuum” of space?

Exactly. In a vacuum no pressure can be built up behind the rocket. A propeller works because it creates an area of high pressure behind it and that high pressure pushes it as it moves toward low pressure. Same with lift, an area of high pressure underneath the wing causes the high pressure to push up toward low pressure. A rocket creates high pressure behind the rocket and the pressure moves toward low pressure in front of
The rocket pushing the rocket forward. In a vacuum pressure cannot build up at all.

Again

Opie has inadvertently demonstrated that space is not a total vacuum

By arguing that rockets won’t work in the vacuum of space

And yet for over 50 years rockets have been traveling in space

Leave no other conclusion besides...space ain’t a vacuum

For Opie, the real problem isn’t even present in the discussion

The real problem is the paradigm itself

The real question is how a rocket operates in the aether of interplanetary space

Now that’s a rabbit hole worth following
