We will too. The problem is we have paved the entire valley with asphalt and it stays deadly hot at night, never cools down. Monsoon rains are pushed away from the valley by the rising heat from the pavement. If the power ever goes out for more than 3 days ... Millions will die |

Matter of fact, they see 120+ around July and August Quoting: Anonymous Coward 70952597 thats right. pavement is 150 to 160 degrees. inside a car in the sun is 160 degrees. doesnt do shit to covid as can see from the numbers. if we had a piece of the Sun, it could not kill covid. |

My A/C took a dump and stoppes blowing cool air Thursday, LITERALLY >:·< ! I live in Tucson and my apartment went up to 97° (their A/C company can't come until Tuesday), they finally gave me a portable A/C unit-put it in my window-taped it up like crap and I still feel hot air coming in thru the whole UNTAPED part at the top (I'd "repair" their crappy job, but I'm 4'11"-get dizzy instantly so I'd probably fall and I have no tape except scotch tape. Fun). They set it at 62° and it has been running since Fri night when the finally put it in and my Living room and kitchen are STILL ~87°/88°since. Smh. My rent is well more than HALF of my income-I'm alone, disabled and homebound with MS and am TERRIFIED to see my electric bill later this month! Broke as a bad joke as it IS! :< |
