Where are they made Quoting: Anonymous Coward 78086220 They are super comfortable to wear. Haven't had a pair for over 20 years, been thinking about picking up a pair again. Why did you get rid of your paid 20 years ago? I've got 2-3 pairs that old and they are still plenty comfy. My first pair was a glossy-black 6 hole boot. I wore them til the soles were like glass. Once the soles were like that they were awesome for clubbing and dancing. So long as you care for the leather, they stay looking pretty new for decades. Just be aware, if you get "greasies" the dub in to keeping them looking perfect is nigh impossible to source in the US. I mix black paste polish and mink oil and it's pretty close, it just doesn't dry right. I live in my Doc Martins 8 months a year. I've had Doc Martins, as well as Sperry Topsiders, re-soled a couple of times... It is getting hard to find a good cobbler these days though. Honestly, though, DM's are made to be re-soled. Soles can be ordered directly from the Co, or many stores which sell them keep some in stock. My Birkenstocks, however, are not worth re-soling.
