The tradition is to allow enemy soldiers to be buried on our soil and their graves marked, but not to honor them in any way. This includes the south. I dont think anyone is suggesting exhuming them either.
The problem is not the memorials so much as the attempt to make treason seem honorable by placing statues or obelisks to honor them. This is just wrong, it's no different than putting a statue of Mao Se Dong in central park.

Actually I agree with him in principal , but you have to admit the south was the enemy OF THIS PRESENT COUNTRY at one time and their soldiers committed treason against it. You cant expect the people who are part of it to tolerate people many of them hold to be a celebration of institutionalized racial supremacy. I do not doubt the Constitutional right to secession, either, the Lakotah Republic did it many years ago. Too bad the idea of "institutional racial supremacy" still exists, stronger than ever, everywhere on this planet. Losing our Representative republics did nothing to change that. What it did do was create a perfect cast system for voluntary servitude to Government goons and fiat central banks to rule over us without recourse without race being an issue. We are ALL SLAVES NOW.
