I was an organist for years, but never on the scale of the artists that would have played on this one. There are few, if any, people left that can repair/rebuild something like that. Thank you for your comment. Another treasure gone. The historical organ is lost. Gone in flames. This one they will have to rebuild new from scratch, they will try to make it in the same style. We have excellent organ builders... but there will be no money, cities are bankrupt and in debt, churches are city property loaned to the clergy, a dedicated budget will have to be voted, it will take time. Firefighters were extremely quick at the scene or it could have been a lot worse.
