Friend of mine got tired of his Harley breaking down on long trips so he sold it and bought a Kawasaki. Loves the Kawasaki.

Hardleys are the biggest piece of shit ever made.

It is undeniable that Harley Davidson has more after market parts available for all of the touring models they produce. You can easily customize your bike to fit you for performance, comfort and style.

ive heard BMW motorcycles also have good longevity

for myself generally I prefer small to midsize, 450 to 750 cc

To answer the OP’s question, Indian. I’ve owned plenty of Harley’s and two Indian Chieftains. The Chieftain rides better, handles much, much better and is more reliable.
I bought a new Harley at the same time I owned one of the Chieftains. Put 700 miles on the Harley and sold it because it was no where near as good a ride as the Indian.
Plus, whenever I needed routine service on the Indians, the dealer took care of it right away.
The new Harley was due for its first service and when I tried to schedule it in May of the year, they told me they couldn’t get it in till early July. Got pretty much the same response from a couple of other Harley dealers and that was enough to push me over the edge and sell it.

Germans are great and all but so much of their shit is over-engineered with high maintenance costs.

The BMW is so balanced and smooth that you can ride a few more hours a day.

Now that I am older I like the big Honda scooters.

Boycott Harley - they sent their production to China.

Harley Davidson is now a RICE BURNER.
