Yeah i've seen it in the 70's at noon and snowing by dinner Evil controls the ignorant... Climate change is a hoax so is the vax you have been fear-porned into compliance! Quoting: Anonymous Coward 78689367 July 2019 globally was a ball buster, baby powder duster. [link to www.accuweather.com (secure)] When I moved to Lake Havasu city......it was 126 on July 4th and I thought I’d moved to Hell ! But I love that dry heat ! Dry heat is nice. 45 days of 109 to 115 is brutal. Yes it definitely can be ! I always used to say that it doesn’t get hot until 120 lol but that’s B.S. lol when you’re out working in it.....it’s just plain hot in the daytime and never cools off at night ! At least in Northern California it gets over 100 in the daytime but at night cools down into the 70’s with a nice breeze! Direct sunlight no matter the temp seems to sear a bit more than normal over the last 5 years or so - could be the UV's. |

Anonymous Coward (OP) User ID: 78689367 United States 08/15/2020 12:20 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | The Heat is On It's been a record setting July and August for Arizona. About time this heat has gotten some national attention. "California electrical providers instituted rolling blackouts Friday night – the first since 2001–as an intense and prolonged heat wave settled over much of the Western U.S. Hundreds of thousands of people are believed to have experienced brief power outages through the evening, after the body that manages most of the state's electrical utilities declared a Stage 3 emergency to help reduce stress on the larger grid. Electrical demand surged through the day as temperatures topped the triple digits in many parts of the state and people cranked up fans and air conditioning units to try and stay cool." [link to www.npr.org (secure)] California could institute rolling blackouts for 7 to 10 days. |
