Ratings Crash for NBA, MLB After Protest-Filled Debuts

As the NBA and MLB return from their coronavirus-imposed hiatus, it appears TV viewers are not interested in what the increasingly woke leagues have to offer.

With both baseball and basketball draped in all sorts of Black Lives Matter and social justice symbolism for their opening games, a substantially smaller number of fans tuned-in to the rest of the week’s games.

According to Outkick.com, neither league did well.

Something I have never understood about actors, sports figures and now entire leagues completely ignore when they begin to make political statements of any kind is that the ONLY reason people watch them in the first place is to ESCAPE...to RELAX from the daily grind of life!

How is it they never seem to understand if THEY are going interrupt and disrupt that escape they are ELIMINATING the very reason "fans" tune in and or go to events in the first place!

Seems their greed and simple common sense would rule the day but sadly none of them seem to understand that anymore. At least there will be payback for their foolishness is robbing us of the pastimes we used to enjoy...Hope they enjoy their early retirements.
