No. You do realize that the ascent stage engine is blasting the descent stage left behind on the moon, not the moon's surface right? there's also no air on the moon to cause billowing of the dust like you see in the video taken on Earth of the starship prototype.

And yet, we have video of the Moon Rover kicking up all kinds of rooster-tails of dust, exactly in the manner one sees it happen ON EARTH.

In fact, dust was such a problem, they are still worried about it today. Yet, there was no dust in the firing of ROCKET ENGINES on the Apollo 17 takeoff. So, how do you get Rover tires kicking up dust, but NOT rocket engines??

Easy - because it was a MODEL, not a real takeoff.

"Not only did Apollo landing crews get fogged out by the blown dust, making touchdowns troublesome, but substantial amounts of rock and debris were also sent flying during the rocket-powered landings."

Wrong. On earth the dust will billow and won't form nice rooster tails.

Again, the engine impinged on the descent stage deck, not the moon's surface. You don't seem to understand the basics of how the LM worked. IT WAS A DIFFERENT ENGINE USED DURING ASCENT THAN DURING LANDING, THE ENGINE FACING THE SURFACE USED FOR LANDING WASN'T USED TO LAUNCH THE ASCENT STAGE!
