Like humans, they are omnivores and need more than meat alone 1) supplements: vitamin, mineral chews or powder to add to home made dog food. Eggshells are good for calcium.. cook, grind & add to food 2) veggies: cook up squash, parsnips, carrot, sweet potato, peas, etc... 3) Fruit: blueberries, cranberries, Apple, peach, pear 4) Oil: fish or salmon oil liquid, capsules added to food. Eggs. 5) Grains: cooked rice, quinoa, millet Most beef nowadays is from cows fed on a GMO and corn diet. Lots of antibiotics and additives are unhealthy. Can also try making burgers out of ground turkey or ground chicken for variety |

We fed him just regular old dog food. My sister's cat died just before I think it was her 18th birthday. She ate regular cat food, no special diet, and did not see a vet until we had to take her in because she had ended up having a stroke. That's when she was put down. Before that, never went to the vet. Last Edited by Anonymous Girl on 08/05/2020 12:18 PM "Unless it's mad, passionate, extraordinary love, it's a waste of your time.
