Yesterday he said that he believed it would probably be from July 1st till the end of the year, but that the lawyers were trying to figure it out/finalize it. Today he said August 1st till the end of the year, with it likely extended and forgiven, not just deferred, if he is re-elcected. |

No, it is SS and Med, approximately 7.5%, is what will be waived. Income tax is to variable to waive it. If you are self employed I believe you are waived the full 15%, which is what you normally pay in SS and Med, as when you are employed by someone else they pay half, so it's my understanding self-employed people will get a bigger break. |
