One time, a guy I worked with told me he and his wife didn't let their dog chew on bones because they thought it was unsafe.

I thought to myself: "That poor dog is so depr--..." He immediately responded aloud: "Oh, it's NOT deprived."

Maybe he'd heard it before from others and assumed that's what I was thinking. But it was weird, he was responding aloud conversationally as if I'd spoken aloud, even though I hadn't. I don't think he himself even realized I hadn't spoken. It's like he heard me thinking without realizing it. A little strange.

I do this with my fiancee' all the time. She always gets freaked out and asks how I knew what she was thinking. She's my soulmate, so I just chalk it up to that.

I once came out of a store and there was an older woman sitting on a bench in the 'hallway' where the carts & toy machines are. She looked very worried.

I got a funny feeling her daughter (who was not there) was putting her in a nursing home. I smiled at her & told her not to worry, that everything was gonna be OK (I don't know where those words came from).
I never saw this woman before.
She smiled at me, thanked me and told me her family was trying to find a place for her to live.
