There was NO camera on the moon to actually televise the "landing" because they were the first there. There was a camera on the lem. that opened with the landing legs and covered the ladder.. Can you please point out where the camera was located. In all the images shown of the LEM I can’t seem to find one showing a camera on any of the landers legs. Thanks. You got Me! It was NOT "ON" the landing leg; it was attached to a fold out panel next to the leg: the pilot deployed it upon landing: Heres's everything you want to know about the westinghouse cameras on the lunarmissions. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 77862243 What a joke. Why is almost everything in life a Freemasonic lie? Actually, no one with brain believes we watched it live on television. We heard it live on the radio, if you were in a car at the time, and I assume that the television broadcast played the audio. The crew had cameras to film themselves, and take photos. Now back to the basement to dream up another wow moment. |

Actually I personally proved what they claimed was impossible with the bandwidth they had available, which was 500khz. This signal included everything, it was all broadcast back to earth from a single multiplexed transmitter. See what kind of video you can produce at a byte rate of 500 kilobytes a second and then add all of the telemetry and the audio communications. Not only that, the 23 watt transmitter on the lunar lander could not have produced a usable signal to noise ratio with the heat of the moon right in the middle of the main beam of the Earth based radio telescope. |
