I watched the stream of it. I don't really understand what is earth shattering about it. So a gubmint contractor built their own social media marketing software and sold it to the gubmint and then also used it for election marketing. There's already commercial social media marketing software that does that kind of stuff that advertisers and affiliate marketers use.

I was thinking along the same lines, I figured if AJ was controlled opposition (i was skeptical of it) that something like this would eventually happen if cases were in fact being made against former gov officials...and investigations were ongoing, well, here we are.

It isn't too outlandish to think that IW would hire "contractors" as a means of plausable deniability, I'm not sure how far that would go in court but its a necessary angle nonetheless.
