People are evil, and it is just getting worse. This happened today at the lake........

Went fishing today with one of my nieces at a popular watercraft recreation lake.

It was a beautiful day, so much in fact that we didn't get much fishing done due to all of the activity on the lake causing excessive chop from the jet ski's and larger boats.

We were in a 15' aluminum canoe with a trolling setup.

We anchored for awhile, until the sun became too hot. Had a few bites here and there, but didn't catch any fish.

At the boat launch a guy was pulling his boat out and said a big piece of his tail pipe was missing. He told me some kids must have cut it before he left home and he just noticed it. I was like wow! That really sucks!

He pulled out and left and I didn't think any more of it.

We went back out for a few hours just cruising around, not even bothering to fish (This outing was primarily to test my new deep cycle and trolling plate anyways.) and then headed back to the boat launch because we were sun burnt and tired.

As we were loading the canoe onto the truck, another guy was loading out his boat and heading home also. Then he says, someone cut my catalytic converter off my truck!

I told him that the other guy who had left a bit earlier said he was missing part of his exhaust pipe.

The guy finished loading his boat and left.

Then it dawned on me that someone had cut them there at the boat launch! The first guy saying exhaust pipe instead of cat, threw me for a bit and I didn't fully equate the two at first.

I finished stowing my gear in the truck getting ready to leave myself, when my niece came over with a couple of used sawzall blades in her hand.

I asked her where she found them?

She said she was walking barefoot through the soft dirt at the edge of the parking area and kicked them up with her toes. She said they were completely buried in the soft dirt.

So anyways, it looks like people are getting robbed at the lake here where I live of their catalytic converters.

My truck thankfully wasn't targeted, but this is some major bull-crap going on.

People are wicked and immoral. Keep your eye open people.
