Cats adopt people.... I have been adopted by several strays.
I am now the cray neighborhood cat man because I feed all the strays. I have about a dozen that come and go. They have all been spayed or neutered. Feeding and caring for them gets expensive but I can not stand to see anything go hungry or be cold in the winter so I made several shelters out of plastic containers for them

We had feral cats and kittens all the time and fed them as we took pity on them especially when the weather turned colder. The life is ROUGH and hoping there are plenty if rodents in the meadows. If there are around here, the foxes and owls get them.

So they would eat even leftoever Chinese even the veggies. They were not finicky.

Remember they need water too.

Be careful because goofy kittens will crawl up in a warm engine.

Omigosh! Beautiful kitty! I used to have a kitty that looked almost just like that when I was a little girl. I loved her so much!

They'll eat a grasshopper or a cave cricket. They don't care. Poor things are civered with fleas, so don't bring them directly in your house. Treat them in the garage or you have a mess to deal with over weeks.

One drops a litter in October, it gets cold and hear mewling as mama cat goes on a food run. Something could happen and those kittens are by themselves for a long time. You don't just bring them in or she might abandon them. You got work up to it and be watching for her.

Cats definitely pick you! I'm glad you take care of those cats. We used to have a bunch of strays around my apartment I used to feed. People would move out and just dump them.

ours started with an elderly lady that lived near us. She was put in a nursing home by her family and just left her cats to take care of themselves. They ha a couple litters before we had them all fixed. I found homes for all the kittens after they were healthy. One little guy almost dies and cost me a small fortune in vet bills but he made it and is now happy with his new parents.

My cat will try and clean me every time I wash my hair and do not dry it. She thinks she needs to help me dry it and does so in every way she can think of.

Ha, they are! Sometimes, I after I per one of ours, they immediately start licking that spot like I mussed them up!

She almost does not look like the same kitten. She had given up on life and the vet was not sure she would make it. I had to force feed her for a week before she started eating on her own.
