I remember one guy freaking out about ww3 and another shouting "I bet it was the fucking Arabs!" repeatedly. He didn't get in any more trouble than gently being told to shut up.

i came from college, went to nap, my tv was ON.. i guess it was 5pm, woke up to see 1st building damaged. they thought its a plane accident. then 2nd plane hits. it was terrifying.

I was booting up my computer when i heard the neighbor yelling to his wife: "we're under attack!" Ran into the living room and turned on the TV. Stood on my front stoop and watched the plume of smoke trailing south towards Jersey. Walked to the end of the block where I could see the towers and took a minute of two of video. There is a school there, on the bay, and I cast my vote. Election day (primary) was cancelled and my vote didn't count.
I went home and watched the towers collapse on TV. My wife stayed at work until about noon, she was in mid-town, and walked out of Manhattan over the 59th Street Bridge with tens of thousands, maybe hundreds of thousands, of others, fighter jets racing overhead. Caught a ride with a co-worker whose husband worked in Long Island City (who had a car and also lived in our town), took them four hours to navigate the backstreets (Long Island Expressway and the parkways were closed) and get home; should have been a forty-five minute ride.

I was there. I worked at 7WTC.

Picked up my kid from school early.

On the sign out list no one knew what to write for the reason of pick up.

Lady in front of me wrote: TV.
And I asked what that meant, and she said "because of what's on tv". Everyone was in shock. It was weird.

This isn't another conspiracy theory, is it?

I worked for Salomon Smith Barney, which was a part of Citigroup at the time. We occupied 7WTC. Well almost all of it. The mayor and secret service had a couple of floors.

Food prep class 7th grade

I was at school, I was 16 years old.

Something extremely odd happened to me that day. I had no idea of what was going on, and I was in the way home while things were happening in NY. When I set my feet in my house, a strange voice came up in my mind, it was a female voice, and told me just one time...."your world will never be the same again. The dawn of pain has arrived."

At that moment, I began to watch the TV (live transmission) and I saw the second airplane hit the tower, I thought it was a replay, but no, it was happening right there, at that very moment.

I swear to God, I heard that phrase.

Did you see them wiring up the building for demolition?

absolutely not

Driving home I had to pass downtown Charlotte, was praying that other cities weren't under attack without knowing about the other planes that were aimed at the Pentagon and Capitol Building.

This time we won't be as lucky. 20 of our major cities will be targeted. And again, most people won't be prepared or even know why this is happening.

But this time WWIII will end all Islamic terrorism.

What a journey!

I was on a plane and landed at my destination. I was in the very back and was the very last passenger to get off. The cockpit door was open as I was walking out and I could hear a crewmember loudly talking to the other saying " Call dispatch and find out what the F is going on there shouldn't be any groundstop" I wondered what that was about
I walked thru the concourse and into the terminal and I saw a large crowd all watching a TV and I walked over to see the WTCs on fire. I immediately knew this was no accident!

I was at work. We all stopped to watch the television in the waiting area. Shock, silence, disbelief. The skies were clear afterwards, with no aircraft flying, so there was also this eerie stoppage of time aspect immediately afterwards. Out of seemingly nowhere Ashleigh Banfield appeared as the leading reporter on the streets of NYC. There was a tall black dude who stood near her most of the time, and at one point, he whispered something to her. I remember thinking how strange that guy looked and how awkward it was that he appeared to be monitoring her. Wish I could find footage from 911 videos of that guy standing behind Banfield, but so many of these are no longer available and I can't find any of him. Later, however, this looked like the same guy who was reported to be the Naval Yard shooter in DC who claimed he was targeted by microwave mind control. Here is the man I'm referring to...

The other thing that struck me is how many people during the live broadcast on 911 were saying they heard a "bomb" go off inside of the building. People on the street claiming they heard a bomb go off, and one person who had been inside of the first tower claimed he heard a bomb and saw smoke on the first level of the building while he was inside before running out. I recall thinking at the time, that there must have been both a plane and bombs planted, but here we are years later, and still so many questions about this. Here is Ashleigh herself saying "bomb"...

I will tell u sonething that happened. There was a quake below us. It kinda felt like a subway train rolling under us But there's no trains on Greenwich St. So we felt a rumble below our feet, and i said to my friends, wtf is that?!?

Next thing that happens is the first tower starts coming down.

I don't know if the rumble was the supposed earthquake that happened at the same time, or the floors on the tower coming down upon each other... But it sure felt like it was coming from the ground...

I'm not into this particular conspiracy theory, but I do have to question the earthquake that supposedly happened at the exact time the first tower fell. I think the seismographs were capturing the floors collapsing on each other, and that was causing the rumble on the floor. And then eventually it all came toppling down.

We ran uptown after that, so we weren't there for the 2nd tower collapse to compare.

In NYC, 20 blocks away. Was asleep when planes hit but was at the corner of 2nd Ave. and 3rd St. when they fell.

I was in the AF, working on base in Texas. They tasked us with barricading and patrolling perimeter - we weren't sure if there was going to be more terror attacks.

St Pete, RU, working for a company that had the satellite dishes with positioning capabilities. And the friend of mine repositioned one of it to eutelsat may be about 10 minutes before the first plane hit.

I was in 4th grade. I’m almost 30 now. Didn’t know what was going on until the teachers started freaking out and crying. My mom picked me up soon after the second one hit and I really got scared but I went upstairs of my house and played Nintendo 64 all day to keep my mind off it.

Was in jigs school and caught the first plane on tv in some teachers office I remember this girl and I said the pilot was a fucking idiot then the second happened and that when it was on.

We went through a couple classes and it was religious school so everyone is weird as fuck and shit operated differently but after everything had been grounded for a while we heard one plane over our school. It was weird.

Later on they released the radars and that plane was shanksville making its turn. Which I am 100 sure was shot down. They had big time warning on that one we were a state over from shanksville so they had time to figure out.

In a plane on our way to vacation in Mexico. Diverted to Atlanta, got a hotel, rented a car at 3am the next day, drove back home to PA.

I was working on a project involving view mater cards. Had already done part one of three. My clients were in NY for meeting that morning to start the second part. Several principals had relatives in the towers. My clients had to take a train to DC and rent car to get back to Il.

Project canceled, lost $60,000 that day.
