Somethings wrong you can now look right at the sun and not look away

That most everyone is saying 'meh' and going on their day, unimpressed, is as spooky as the gigantic red doom sun

I looked at the SUN last week before the fires came ( I live in Wa state ) and there was a big bright Cross!!!

Did not expect to see a blood red sun this far east, and yes I could stare directly at it.

Here in California it’s been a haze of supposed smoke for over a week straight and has not changed at all. You can look at the sun too. This has never happened in all my life in a city that is used to seasonal brush fires.

There’s definitely something funky going on. We’re on like day 8 of a soft gray haze that allows no view of the sky or stars at night. Can’t see the chem trails either.

Confirmed last two days rural Alberta, no smoke smell here. Sun is dim, air is very hazy.

It's still not good for your eyes.

But yes this smoke is something. Thought to try the am dial while driving, reception was noticably degraded.

Same here in central IL. Very eerie.

Just noticed this yesterday here in PA, so weird to be able to look at Sun that early in the evening. Then today the local news weather guy casually says the smoke is creating haze blocking out the Sun and lowering the temp, just acting like this is normal and fine and common.

That is why its been so cool lately..

Cooled off too sudden especially for mid September.

Completely agree. It was 70 but needed a hoodie to be comfortable! The a.c. noticeably stopped running as well. Very strange.
