I've always had my cleaning service use Pine-Sol instead of chlorine based cleaning products.

I can't stand the smell of chlorine inside my home.

Pine-Sol was good enough for Grandma and Mom...it's good enough for me.

So does vinegar, baking soda and dish detergent. All sorts of things.

Just like a common cold.

Lemon juice. Or Lime. There are other natural cleaning oils and solutions some people swear by.

Pinesol is poisonous. Currently using up a bottle that was bought accidentally when the stores weren't stocked well, because I like lysol as back up for some jobs. But infrequently only. Anything with bleach in it, affects my asthma.

But I use non toxic solutions, mainly vinegar or lemon juice to disinfect, and dish detergent, which is toxic enough, and baking soda.

As far as I know PineSol cannot or should not be used on true wood surfaces like flooring? Something about discoloring it?

I can't imagine tasting a pine needle. Just sounds like it would be extremely bitter?

I bet it works really good if it is injected.

It's an acquired taste for certain.
