My blood runs Java, life wouldn't be worth living without coffee and teas. The irony of coffee is that it is not healthy first thing in the morning on an empty stomach. It's great midmorning after a meal. If I drink it in the morning I will crash out and go back to sleep. Lattes are much better because the milk gives you something to digest with food value and you don't crash.

I've always called alcohol "The Devil's juice", Yes, even when I drank myself! I was never addicted, drank right along side my ex-husband and easily just stopped buying it altogether when he quit. I'd occasionally buy some wine to cook with and the bottle would sit in the fridge forEVER.

But the people who change their whole personalities when they'd drink? Yikes.

My father was a working alcoholic. He was never "drunk". I could honestly say that my MOTHER, who passed on her inability for ANY sort of addiction to me (thank God). My ex-husband drank heavily-but even HE suddenly stopped one day (his father died of scerosis of the liver from drinking). That's when I realized a drunk asshole is just an asshole. Who doesn't drink. But that was THEN. We started young.

I gave birth to my daughter 2 weeks before I walked down the aisle to get my highschool diploma and we got married 6mths later. I was 18yo then. We were married 13years and had our second daughter 4yrs after our first.

Alcohol just changes too many people for the worse. Sad.

There are tons of studies that say coffee is good for you. I even heard a real Doctor prescribe 1 cup everyday. It prevents prostate cancer and so much more...
