The Bleeding House was one of the creepiest movies i've seen. not scary, creepy. it was a little too realistic as far as what a deranged mind could do. it's not a gory slasher flick, that's what made it extra creepy.

Final Cut w/Robin Williams. Not necessarily scary but definitely creepy and twisted

He was in a movie where his son in the movie killed himself by hanging from a doorknob.

That's how Robin Williams went out in real life.

I liked the Dog Soldiers.

It's an old one, but it is called VHS.

Creepy as hell.

Starts out with some guys who find a VHS tape in a freak house and they play it. It has five separate horror flicks, and a new one is written to it every time it is watched. They become the sixth . . . . and every damn one is totally f***ED UP spooky.

May is another one of those bizarre movies out there that are creepy.

You may not like all of these. Some will give you nightmares. Personally, the atmosphere of Clockwork Orange was probably the most disturbed I've felt, but it just made me very uncomfortable.

Don't fall asleep listening to Idiocracy. You will wake up thinking mankind is 100% stupid. All except you. That's not necessarily a good thing. It wears off though except you will never again give liberals the respect they don't deserve.

I just looked this up. As it turns out, it is not a very old movie and was a major well respected production. If you have not seen V/H/S/, well, there it is. Go get it.

We have had it in our video collection (all paid for, not pirate) for about 6 years. It does not come off as a major film, it comes off as a super freaky B flick.

I'm forced to pirate most movies because they aren't out anymore and are hard to find. Everything at the Red Box sucks. I try to rent movies but there aren't any good ones I want to watch.

A funny story.... I was watching a movie I downloaded on my PS3 and it cut the sound off because it knew it was pirated. I turned the internet off on the PS3 and I haven't had the problem again.

I tend to be so immersed in the paranormal, lore and real life, that few films actually disturb me. I usually hate slasher films or over the top, predictable Hollywood crap. Dumb shit sucks, yo.

A few decent ones were mentioned in this thread. For recent films, Hereditary is good. Babadook and the newer one form that director. Some of the newer blockbusters like "the Conjuring (1 and 2)" are ok.

I also liked The Witch for creepy, historically accurate atmospherics.

I for one, am a hard one to scare. Worked 2 years in a morgue, I'm completely atheist so uniting these two, there's not much that can be done. So I go for original story lines.

Mama: Not that much scary, but with an original story. Two girls are raised by a supernatural entity.


Let me in: Very good story. The "friendship" of a boy and a child vampire girl.
