Imagine if for years we tested for the flu and common cold like we do covid and told everyone to wear masks, social distance, contact traced and all that crap and constantly harped on about the number of cases rising as the number of tests rise but almost no deaths or hospitalization just asymptomatic cases. Here is a case there is case! case! Politicians and the bought off mainstream media shout "Everyone let's get hysterical and over react!".

What is the end goal of constantly testing and doing all these measures? It doesn't eradicate the virus and the virus has 99.9% survival rate and only causes the sniffles in most healthy people yet we are turning our society upside down for it with no end in site.

You are not going to eradicate 30 plus and growing and constantly mutating covid viruses anymore than you are going to eradicate the thousands of common cold and flu viruses. This virus is no worse than the flu yet we are constantly talked down to and lectured to in a condescending berating tone of voice by our political leaders who tell us we are not allowed to socialize anymore because they called it "irresponsible" and we are naughty little children for wanting to have a social life.

Was it irresponsible before covid to socialize with our friends because the flu is worse than covid and killed old granny in the nursing home in prior years.

Our governments are coming awfully close to criminalizing people for getting a cold or the flu and ruining their lives over it. Since when is it the job of governments to protect us from viruses?
