Epic historical event in Italy. Italians vote massively to reduce políticians numbers by 30%

The official stats say aprox. 70% of Italians voted yes to the reduction. Which in itself indicates everything.

In my opinion it is a revolution, peaceful with the vote.

Should be pinned. Anyone with minimun knowledge of history and polítics and social movements understands the enormous significance of this.

Because the silent question many people are probably thinking is.. What if the referéndum was to remove all políticians what would the turnout and result have been?

Wasn't this an EU-led initiative to further undermine Italy's sovereignty? I thought this scheme had been tried before by one of the EU-installed, unelected prime ministers?

This is wonderful. I sincerely hope America follows in their footsteps. Politicians should be paid less than minimum wage since it's a public position. Same thing with judges and cops.

we could also limit the number of federal employees

and get rid of entire departments like the corrupt DOJ and FBI

I would love to vote on reducing politicians and government employees too.

in USA for example, there are some 25 million government employees, the government is the largest job producer - parasite, tit sucking good for nothing administration that drains the tax payer dollars

America and the whole world should follow the Italians
