I am not surprised it is failure. Sitting 6 hours in front of the computer when you are a kid is not conducive to learning. They are treating online learning like they are still in the classroom and requiring the students to be there and sit through zoom classes. That's why I strongly suggested people home school their kids instead and get away from sitting almost 6 hours straight in front of the computer. You are going to be stuck at home with your kid anyways when they shut the schools down again for cold and flu season so you might as well have gotten them situated with some home school course instead that doesn't involve classes over zoom like you are still in public school.

It was designed to be a total fail so they can make home schooling illegal when all this finally wafts away like a bad fart.

But that's not real home schooling. In real home schooling a parent or a tutor is directly involved with the student and helping them and supervising their education. The kid isn't expected to be on their own and police themselves through the educational process.

The public schools put together some hybrid home schooling/public school education which just basically amounts to public classes over zoom like they were in physical classroom and have to be there at a certain time or they miss out. Real home schooling is not like that at all.
