Thousands of Christians are in Washington, DC for an event called "The Return: National and Global Day of Prayer and Repentance."

The Return is a solemn assembly based on 2 Chronicles 7:14 found in the Bible.

"If my people who are called by my name humble themselves, and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land." (2 Chronicles 7:14 ESV)

The Return is for all believers from all denominations and backgrounds.

"We've witnessed the darkest year. A year in which the world and specifically America has been shaken," Jonathan Cahn co-chair of the event said in his opening address. "This is not a rally, it's not a seminar, it's a sacred assembly. This is an appointed gathering at an appointed place at an appointed time."

"27 Then Abraham spoke up again: “Now that I have been so bold as to speak to the Lord, though I am nothing but dust and ashes, 28 what if the number of the righteous is five less than fifty? Will you destroy the whole city for lack of five people?”

“If I find forty-five there,” he said, “I will not destroy it.”

29 Once again he spoke to him, “What if only forty are found there?”

He said, “For the sake of forty, I will not do it.”

30 Then he said, “May the Lord not be angry, but let me speak. What if only thirty can be found there?”

He answered, “I will not do it if I find thirty there.”

31 Abraham said, “Now that I have been so bold as to speak to the Lord, what if only twenty can be found there?”

He said, “For the sake of twenty, I will not destroy it.”

32 Then he said, “May the Lord not be angry, but let me speak just once more. What if only ten can be found there?”

He answered, “For the sake of ten, I will not destroy it.”

33 When the Lord had finished speaking with Abraham, he left, and Abraham returned home."

Prayer is always needed before battle. The Day of Atonement is upon us and the Ennemy is ready to strike.

I was watching the official stream for a while and then I went on youtube and saw that Will Johnson is on the ground there interviewing in the crowd and showing what's going on in the area, he's there with his team from Unite America first,

Whole world needs this revival so badly.
