Several assassinations of high ranking people occur in the Balkans. The next day Russia is attacking Europe. This happens at the end of July. But the year is unknown. It is a fast war, an incredibly deadly war. That day 1/3 of mankind dies. England disappears, as a nation, as an island. Russia is stopped in France. The Pope flees Rome, to die in exile. Peace is not so much "declared" as it is simply the state of being after all is destroyed. This "peace" lasts a decade or more. 3) France rises up to lead the world. First against Russia, then in the Middle East. The forces of good fight evil in the plains of Meddigio. Yea. That Armageddon. The old world order is now _gone_ - there is no US or EU. In this power vacuum the Anti-Christ makes his headquarters in Jerusalem and begins the Tribulation events. True evil abounds. Deception is at an all time high. 4) Then the end comes - Israel reborn 1948 plus 120 years (man's lifespan per Genesis 6:3) = 2068 -- Matthew 24:34, "Truly I tell you, this generation will certainly not pass away until all these things have happened."
