I was going to buy a new phone this year anyway because I need the tax write off and my dead one is three years old, but I was going to wait until Black Friday and see if I could get one at a savings....so yeah, that's not happening.


SO, I'm going to spend about $400....any suggestions on a good phone?


I have very much liked my Moto G4 Plus.....

I gots me some Goose Island IPA.....

I set the phone up there to hear it ring if my client called AND I fucking told myself not to forget it was there.......

no help here.. i use my phone about a decade at a time before I replace and I always buy what ever is on sale which means it is discontinued but still.. I don't like spending money on phones!

I pulled off a big DERP today.....


And I would NEVER buy an Apple product. NEVER!

If it weren't for the tax write off I would not be looking to spend that much.....but I refuse to sit in front of my tax lady crying like a baby for 1.5 hrs again next year.


I'd rather spend my money on a phone and endless car washes and clothes and ANYTHING else I can find to write off.

I like write offs.. do not forget the educational incidents. workshops etc or just some advice you found helpful? :)

My bosses pay for so much that goes with the job, so I'm needing to be creative with it.

When I picked the phone up the screensaver fell off. Somebody in another car rolled down their window and said something dropped off. I held the phone up and said, "It's fucking TOAST!" He said he was sorry.

The phone screen is completely shattered....it looks like the spider web from a spider on crack. I imagine 20 semis ran over it the way it looks. It still rings and I get text notices, but no way to answer it. I can't even power it down.

I'd be crying if I didn't have the money to get a new one, but I do. Thankfully I save for blunders like this.


Gawd, I have to laugh....it's better than crying. I'm very glad I can roll with the punches....

i never pay more than like 100 bux for a cheapo android because .... welll.... sometimes i thrash too hard. cant really have nice things.

its funny because the same thing happened to me and i even found the phone hours later right where it fell.

The camera on my Moto was not great, so I would like to find one with a better camera in it....

I love my camera it always takes the best pictures of all phones and i will keep it for the camera I think no matter what?

Also, a phone is the first job requirement. I have to get a phone before I can go back to work. Thankfully, my run tomorrow cancelled.
