It’s not yet clear why Trump decided to blow up the interview. Was this all a premeditated stunt, so he could try to scandalize the entire thing? Or did he merely get frustrated because the interview was going poorly for him? Trump’s behavior has become so much more deranged and unhinged than usual over the past several days, it’s difficult to parse what he thinks he’s doing at this point. But this development certainly won’t play well for him. And of course 60 Minutes has the video footage of whatever went down. We'll find out on Sunday, but I would expect we will hear Trump whining on Twitter about the interview being "soooo unfair". |
