It was great until my RV had to go into the shop for damage from a collision. The repair shops are cons. Every one of them. Weve been displaced off and on for the same issue for almost a year, and have even suffered some adverse health effects due to water intrusion and black tank bacteria. I wont be buying another RV. Between the chemical odors, septic fumes, and high (read certainty) of water intrusion and black mold, its sure to destroy your health in no time. Better off building a tiny home with mold restant, low tox matetials. Its cheaper and it will last longer. |

And what's this "wiping" you guys are talking about? |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 72411668 United States 10/24/2020 01:54 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | A couple of years ago, at the start of my retirement, the wife and I began our long-planned RV excursion. Sold the house and all things and stuff we wanted to keep went into storage. We really did not know how long we would stay on the road--6 months, 1 year, 3 years--we made it 6 months and decided to buy a new home in a rural area. The decision was just as much for the kids and grandkids it was for us--they wanted us to be near them. We traveled to four western states and had the best times of our lives. We met a lot of good people and some new lifelong friends. We also met a few "full-timers"--that are actually quite wealthy. Being free of built-up areas is great, but not for everyone. I've read about working-age families going full time but did not meet any. The RV lifestyle is not any cheaper than having a stick-built home--not much anyway. Some things are cheaper and some things are more expensive--some much more--tires for one. No mortgage but an RV payment plus campground costs--you just can't boondock all the times--crazy idea. RV parks could cost 1500 per month by itself-easily. It's a lifestyle choice more than anything. |

And what's this "wiping" you guys are talking about? Well, these guys have it so good that they eat food almost every day. When you live that rich, your body can’t use all the food so some gets dropped out the back hatch. These guys eat such rich foods, it is still moist when it comes out, and leaves a slimy residue on the hatch door. It’s true I swear it! Pine cones and gravel... pfft... city folk. |

I am currently living in one while the election hoopla blows over. |
