I'm 5'11" and my hubby of 30+ years is 6'5". I never dated anyone shorter than me, but it never occurred to me that short women would want a really tall guy. Seems kind of weird.

Tall is nice, but it’s only part of a “bundle” that makes a man attractive. Outside factors & inside, such as character, integrity & honesty. My husband was only 2.5” taller than me, but he was gorgeous. I’m 5.8” tall & likely would not date someone shorter. Yeah, I don't have anything against shorter guys, it's just that because I am tall I want to at least wear a little bit of a heel. Interestingly enough, my mother's side of the family are all petite people. I overshot her when I was about 10. I think there are pros and cons to being either taller or shorter than average. You just learn to deal with it. For me, it is that I can never get clothing long enough because they seem to be made for women about 5' 6". My little mother was forever going on about how clothes were made for giants. It's all relative.
