So who is going to host Jeopardy now? I see it now. Not a white guy that’s for sure. You can’t even find a white guy in a TV commercial any more sooooo.....

I reported my parents missing to the police back in January. That was the start to my year. It feels like years ago now. I can't believe what a hellish year this has been. Good riddance already.

Long story short, they got lost on the way home from a doctor's appointment. When I put two and two together and realized they hadn't gotten home from the appointment the day before, I called the police. After they went to check my parents' home to see if they were there (and weren't), I had to file a missing person's report. They were found driving around some neighbourhood, safe thankfully, but it was pretty terrifying.

And I had great respect for Alex.
Sometimes he would straight up call out contestants!

Actually, that was the silver lining in all of this. They were taken to a local hospital when they were found. When we went to get them, the doctor said that they had to report my mom to the Ministry of Transportation because of the lack of problem-solving. Her license was suspended. She could go get a cognitive test from her doctor, but I told her that I don't want her to do that or driving anymore. It was a blessing in some ways because it took at least one worry off our plate.

You're welcome. It is sad, he seemed like such a gentle soul.

My wife watched jeopardy everyday. She passed away in 2018 at a young age. I hope she gets to talk to dude. He always seemed to be a kind person.

Never knew him in person but may he Rest In Peace.
