The president is the highest classification authority there is, he can declassify anything.

NO HE WON’T. Trump will NOT declassify those documents.

Those fighting for him for the last 3 1/2 years were LITERALLY begging him to do just that for over 2 years and he done nothing. At the times the FBI, DOJ, CIA and others were openly defying or ignoring lawful confessional subpoenas Matt Gaetz and others went to talk to him and told him that the only way they were going to get the info they needed to prove this giant coup was for him to declassify it all. After that every time he was asked when he’s going to do it he would reply “we’re looking closely at it” or “soon.”
At one point over a year or more ago, he said it was all coming out on Friday that he made the decision to get it all out for the American people to finally see. The day before that worm from the DOJ that hired Mueller and his team, Rosenstein came to the White House to meet with Trump about releasing the info. About 3-4 hours later he said he was not going to be releasing the information that he was told it would harm relations with Britain, Italy and Australia because Obama asked them to use the capabilities all our allies have to do the spying in trump so it could not be traced back to him. Supposedly they didn’t want it coming out and being known what they did.

So instead of Trump telling them that they shouldn’t be doing illegal surveillance on people when not authorized to do so, Trump made the decision where he said he turned all decisions on declassifying or deciding when to release declassified documents to the people up to Attorney General BARR. Then told the media they could ask him what his time line was like for releasing the info.

That was the end of it. To my knowledge BARR or Trump haven’t released a single document about the coup attempt.

For whatever reason Trump just doesn’t want the information released. I’ve never been able to understand why a person that had official, incontrovertible evidence that the 3 year long attack on you was a hoax and perpetrated by the highest levels of federal law enforcement and you have the documents to prove it but you won’t let them be released or you just don’t care if they’re released at all.

For a man that constantly brags about how smart he is, how big his brain is and anything else about his education, he sure does some incredibly STUPID stuff. Stuff even a 5th grader would know to do.


Oh well. Maybe that’s one of the reasons he’s looking at saying bye to the White House in 2 months.

Trump hasn't gotten anything declassified yet, and he has 2 months to do it.
