The 1950's with the mass vaccination of the Salk Polio Vaccine carried with it all the same rumors. The government was secretly sterilizing everyone. They were lowering the IQ of the kids who took it, and on and on and on.

None of that was true of course.

What it did accomplish was the vaccine stopped polio and even cured it if it was in teh early stages of infection. Millions of children can walk, run, play today (some 70 years later) because they didn't get polio melitius. The vaccine had very few side effects. It worked and worked well.

I remember going to the local high school gym on a Saturday or Sunday morning and standing in line and being given a sugar cube with a dot of the vaccine on it and later going back for an injection that was the middle in a series of three doses. The final dose a few weeks later was another sugar cube. Adults under 30 were advised to get a dose too because they were pray to the disease, as well. But first the children from age 6 months to 18 years were givnen priority for the vaccine.

I dont plan on taking it, and if i did it would be a couple years after all the guinea pigs took it at this time.

I'm a person who has my own brain to think and make decisions. However, by reading the internet, it has had the affect on me where i am now very wary of taking that injection.

I've read conspiracy stories from "it will turn you into a monkey" to "its the mark of the beast and i will to go hell if i take the shot", and all kinds of things that frankly have turned me off and frankly scared me.

So because of that, which my head tells me are probably not true, but it has scared me. the side effects that you can get actually make me fearful, like when people say it changes your DNA and creates new things in your body, and so thats like me accepting a robot worm in my body that is going to have a mind of its own, changing me on the inside.

So im saying that all this speculation can really scare someone, even if its not true, but still, it has had that affect on me.

now if all that is just crazy consspiracy theories, they have now managed to make a safe vaccination into something to be feared and not taken. when it could have helped.

If covid is just another form of the flu, then i should be ok without a vaccine, since i never bother with the yearly flu shot.
