All those people close to you who aren't getting sick have already had it. It was some cold they had earlier in the year, or late last year. It's the same for any other cold. One person getting it doesn't mean their whole house will get sick at the same time. And expose to related corona head colds have created a cross-immunity.

OP, not sure if anyone else has asked this, but have you requested the CT value from your test?

op this pattern plays out over and over again.

one spouse/partner etc has no symptoms and the other gets hit hard or has some symptoms.

Your fiance is the one who gave it to you. She was minimally exposed when she was briefly exposed to it. So she has no or very very symptoms.

You on the other hand were around that virus shedding lady for days, being assaulted non-stop by her shedding, so your exposure to the virus was a lot higher, meaning you are way more likely to have a worse course of the illness.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 68743810

There is ZERO proof of 'asymptomatic' spread. Most of the studies done so far have said that this is not spread by people not showing symptoms.

An environmental toxin is a stronger possibility. Not everyone reacts the same way to the same thing. Some people think turmeric heals all ills for them while for me, I get a rash.

The less likely scenario is that this actually is some weird bioweapon aimed at people with certain DNA markers or I don't know what. Some people do just have stronger immune systems than others becuase of genes, or early childhood exposure, or pure shit luck.

It won't be included there. You'll have to ask for the cycle threshold value specifically. The last thing the Government wants is for you to know that your CT is 30 or more. It would be fantastic if you could get it and the come back to GLP and post the results! Just remember, you have a right to know these details, so don't allow them to ignore you.

Re: I got sick with "COVID-19". I highly doubt that it's contagious.
I seem to recall hearing/seeing stories about complete shut-ins that live alone, who are almost never exposed to anyone else, getting COVID-19. I think those stories were why we saw the theory (and made-up info that they later reversed) from "scientists" that it could be living for a long time on surfaces.

Pretty sure there were threads on GLP about it.

In my mind, those stories (if true) reinforce my belief that this illness is being delivered through some vector other than person-to-person.
 Quoting: FivelCubed

COVID-19 Isn't what lives on surfaces SARS-CoV-2 is and the resilience was based of lab tests conducted for the lifespan of SARS which obviously share quite the similarities, some people don't get flu and colds when others in their house does but that doesn't change the fact that a coronavirus & the flu are contagious viruses.

Re: I got sick with "COVID-19". I highly doubt that it's contagious.
I've posted about this several times, the story belongs here too.

One year ago, the week after Thanksgiving 2019, I put a brand new memory foam mattress topper pad on the bed.

By mid-December I was extremely ill. Granted I was already in a state of overwork and exhaustion and burnout.

I could barely get out of bed, it started as a sore throat and went directly to my lungs. I had the worst chest cold I've ever had in my life, and I've had plenty of very bad ones.

I was so exhausted and weak, and my lungs felt so weird, like they were vibrating, never felt that before.

I was out from work for a week and then I went back, I was still coughing with bronchitis (not unusual for me). Every weekend I was sick in bed all weekend, not getting up for anything but the most basic necessities.

Around the end of January or maybe mid February, can't remember, I put two and two together about the timing of putting the memory foam topper on the bed and proceeding to get deathly ill, sicker than I've ever been in my life.

I took the mattress pad off and washed all the bedding and 2 days later I felt completely normal and cured.

Then last June I thought I would experiment and put it back on the bed to see what would happen. Right away I felt deathly ill in my whole body, unlike anything else.

Took it off again, felt fine.

I thought about this because I would feel worst in the morning, when I woke up from sleeping on that thing all night, and then progressively feel better throughout the day.

What I have read about this memory foam toxicity thing is that these mattress materials are treated with poisonous flame retardants.

Antimony is one of them and it is supposed to be more toxic than mercury. So, one of the most toxic things known, and they put it on children's sleepwear and bedding materials that you spend half your life on.

It's just another factor and possibility.

We have heard of people who were sick, who did not get a positive test, but were counted as "presumed covid" because of the symptoms and nothing else.

I mean seriously if you get a cold now, it would be "presumed covid" without a test right?

But they aren't taking these environmental factors into account AT ALL.

Yeah, just find out which lab it was sent to. You may have to call them and ask for cycle threshold. It's worth getting it, trust me, and it can tell you a lot. Don't take no for an answer: they are required to give that info to you if you demand it.

Oh yeah. Another thing...
I work from home. My contact with other people isn't often.

Went to Vegas in August. Was in the crowded downtown area and many casinos. Didn't catch it there. Friends have gone 4 times. They're fine. If those crowds didn't give us covid - where it looked like a prime spot to catch it - seems it's not that contagious, if at all.

You could certainly say the same thing about the grocery store workers.

They are the glowing red flag in this whole scenario.

Do you remember what the grocery stores were like when this first hit last March and April?

They said they broke all their records, it was like Thanksgiving sales days for ten days straight.

No one was wearing masks at that time and it was the height of cases, the big spike at the beginning.

So how come the grocery store workers didn't all drop dead?

I never even heard of any of them getting sick. They were working harder than they've ever worked, supposedly surrounded by crazed crowds of contagious, disease-ridden people in a panic.

oh look, a story about an immunocomprised 70-yr-old cancer hag having an asymptomatic case yet shedding the virus for 70 days.

"A 71-year-old cancer patient who tested positive for the novel coronavirus but never showed symptoms remained infectious for 70 days, according to a case study. It started when she went to the emergency room for low back and lower extremity pain and underwent surgery, which then landed her at a rehabilitation facility, according to the study, which was published in the journal Cell.

The woman, who was not identified in the report, has a 10-year history of chronic lymphocytic leukemia, acquired hypogammaglobulinemia, anemia and chronic leukocytosis. After arriving at the emergency room in February she underwent surgery for a spinal fracture and stenosis that was related to her cancer. She was transferred to a rehab center, but went back to the hospital for anemia. Once cleared, it was determined that she could not return to the rehab center due to an outbreak of COVID-19."

Interesting! Well any brand new mattress could have toxic materials and toxic flame retardants, unless it specifically states otherwise.

Also I think the one I got, good, expensive name brand, said the materials themselves were non toxic, but it didn't specify that the FLAME RETARDANTS were.

This is why they have new businesses making mattresses that are specifically excluding all these wretched off gassing materials and toxic chemicals.

I think mine was made worse because I like to sleep with a hot water bottle - so that was probably making it offgas even worse.

The experience has made me even more super skeptical of everything marketed to us than I already was before.

From the data of this case, it appears that either the patient had a clinically insignificant positive PCR test (likely very high CT values as a result of having dead/inert RNA and/or a true false positive) in which case either would not have produced an immune response. The patient, being incredibly immune compromised, ultimately picked up the virus months later and tested positive again, and when this occured the CT values were likely much, much lower since it was a genuine positive.

I live in a VERY rural area. We had lots of stories like this. Along with this, right before the big "covid" outbreak here, there was an immense amount of chemtrail spraying. (Jan 2020).

I do not believe that chemtrails are the only vector.

op this pattern plays out over and over again.

one spouse/partner etc has no symptoms and the other gets hit hard or has some symptoms.

We have hear the narrative, but, it's stupid.

An environmental toxin is a stronger possibility. Not everyone reacts the same way to the same thing. Some people think turmeric heals all ills for them while for me, I get a rash.

Very important point. Toxins often have very "covid" symptoms.

The less likely scenario is that this actually is some weird bioweapon aimed at people with certain DNA markers or I don't know what. Some people do just have stronger immune systems than others becuase of genes, or early childhood exposure, or pure shit luck.

This is absolutely a thing that the they have worked on, but my observation is that it really doesn't work very well.

Sounds like EMF sensitivity.

Could be. Really unhappy about the new cell/internet towers that have been erected close to me.
 Quoting: FivelCubed

When did they put up the towers?

About 1 or 2 days before I got sick.

This is another well demonstrated vector of "covid" symptoms.

All in all, I fear the contagion of Gestapo-Karen leftism way, way more than I fear SARS-CoV-2.

Lockdowns are causing way more misery and death through suicides, medical surgeries delayed too long, destroyed household budgets, etc, than Covid-19 will ever do.

If a hypnotist can get someone to quack like a duck with words, then anyone telling us about symptoms can make other people EXPERIENCE those symptoms.

Why do you the TV is filled with 4 minute commercials listing symptom after symptom after symptom...?

SORCERY.

Oh youtube is so bad right now. Normally I don't see the ads on the computer, but on ROKU you can't prevent them (you can turn them off pretty quick, but you see the beginning).

They're running this dreadful thing right now that they started right before Thanksgiving, some young hippies hanging out in a house voiceover saying "Covid can find you anywhere, it can find you here" then cut to hipster guy in hospital bed with bruises all over his face and tubes up his nose, shot in blue light to look like he got run over a truck dead.

Like if you hang out with your friends, you're going to end up a beat up wreck in a hospital bed, abandoned to die.

Young people don't even get sick and hosptitalized from this!!!!!!!!!

Re: I got sick with "COVID-19". I highly doubt that it's contagious.
Make sure to 1-star me and give me red before even reading this, guys.

I had a lot of the symptoms of "COVID-19", plus a few that aren't generally associated with it. Got the test, came back positive.

It was weird and kind of scary, but most flus I've had were a lot worse.

Another strange thing about flus vs COVID, is that flus actually are contagious, whereas it seems COVID is not.

If it were contagious, about a hundred people in my small town would have gotten it. Well, the vast majority of those people went out to get tested after learning they might have been around someone with it. All results came back negative.

My fiance, who lives with me, never had a single symptom. She also tested negative. We never stopped sleeping in the same bed and my germs were everywhere throughout the house. She's fine.

An elderly male relative of mine got it 2 days after I did (not from me - he's in a different state. Same thing for him and his wife. She didn't have a single symptom. Tested negative. Same goes for the few people he was around when he was likely at his "most infectious". He's fine now, btw.

I know of several other people with nearly identical stories.

On top of that, my Doctor, my work nurse and California's contact tracers all told me essentially the same thing: "There's no rhyme or reason behind who gets it and who doesn't. We still don't know much about it".

Uhhh...yeah. Probably because it's not actually a contagious virus. It seems most likely to me that the illness is contracted via manufactured foods/drinks or some environmental toxin. That's why sometimes a whole household will get it, but it's much more common to see only 1 person in a household get it. People in households don't always eat the same things, nor are they always in the same environments outside the home.

It's possible that we've got another Batman connection here too. In the original Batman movie, the Joker had put one half of his poison's ingredients in some household products and the other half of the poison in (iirc) cosmetic products. Use both things and the poison's ingredients are complete - the poison is assembled inside your body. The same kind of scheme may be going on here, which would allow whoever is sending this out to hide the actual vectors for delivery. They could be doing that, or they could be adding the illness to 1 out of 100 of their product. More if they want spikes im COVID counts.

So, if you get it, try to remember what you ate/drank in the past week. Maybe you were just unlucky enough to consume that bottle of soda, can of corn, stick of jerky, etc, that gave you the illness. Or maybe everyone in the household also consumed the same sick batch, which is why they got it too.

It's also a real possibility in my mind that my elderly relative and I were targeted and had it intentionally delivered to us somehow.

The only thing I can really say for sure is that from my personal experience, "COVID" doesn't seem to be contagious.
 Quoting: FivelCubed

covid is gamma ray radiation illness and there are treatments for it and it should be if you are sick. Lots of fake covid tests out there... a whole batch made in Korea was completely useless. radiation sickness is of course not contagious... but one should not be careless with it.. in terms of staying well.
