And if they do, we can still fuck with them. 9 out of 10, don't enforce, don't care, don't dare mandate due to potential physical confrontation issues, or threat of boycott. Sounds like you guys have the shitty end of the stick. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 79187900 United States 01/27/2021 01:35 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | God I hate all this shit. When this sort of thing was first starting - unreasonable restrictions like needing to wear masks indoors only or fines relating to COVID enforcement - people would say 'well, just don't comply.' I was dead-set against ever wearing a mask. "Nope, not gonna wear one," I said on the first day of the mask mandate. Claimed an exemption for legitimate reasons, but was told I needed proof about half the time. What actually got me, though, is dealing with my fellow citizens who would see me maskless and tell me I was killing their child or I was a murderer and shit - and this sort of thing happened more than once - just because I was walking through a store or something with no mask. At work, well, wasn't allowed in without a mask. End of. No mask, no job. So you can't go to the store, do banking, or work without it. And if you happen to slip through without one anyway, everyone else will line up and say you're a shameful piece of shit. It is DAMN hard to just 'not comply'. If I wasn't the only one...if I wasn't the only guy in the store getting called a murderer, or the only one bringing up medical exemptions, or the only person at work doing the same...it'd be different. Much different. But when everyone is against you. Yeah, I broke. I dutifully don the mask as I shuffle into a store, and my mouth and nose is covered at work. I feel ashamed, too. But...what are we supposed to do? Realistically? =\ |

So we notice you didn't wear a mask yesterday at the store. Management called us. So we are gonna arrest you. Then you leave with handcuffs.... Quoting: Anonymous Coward 78962061 Maybe people will start learning to leave their phones home when they go out. Didn't they track the capitol hill protesters by pinging their phones? Who goes to a riot and takes their phone with them, dumbasses. |
