I see more than my share of bald eagles and shooting stars, and I often see military planes (I think they are warthogs). I'm in a flat place near sea level with tall trees usually lining the roads. So, Looking up often means looking at a thin strip of sky between tall woods on either side of the road. The other day I was driving, and it was a particularly wide road. A state highway. Still forested on both sides. On this particular stretch of road there is a cross road about every half-mile to mile, and there are traffic lights at the cross roads. There are no "little" crossroads ... there is an industrial park behind the woods that takes up a very large area, and it only has a few entrances. So, coming up on the last light in the series before a curve in the road ... I saw something very large zoom by at the treeline, about an eight of a mile ahead of me, past and just above the traffic light. It was definitely not something crossing the road. It was definitely "UP". I instinctively expected a crash and a boom. If it was a plane, it was crashing. But it wasn't a plane, large or small. It didn't look like any kind of plane at all. I could only see it cross the road ... when I caught up to the place (very quickly), there was nothing in the air at all. The most accurate description I can give is ... it looked like a very large large piece of drywall ... yes drywall ... broad side facing me ... trucking through the blue sky like a train. It was moving fast. It was rectangular with the broad side facing me, cream colored and ... plain. Like a humongous piece of drywall being carried by invisible giants. ??? Has anyone ever heard of anything even remotely like this? I'm telling myself it was some kind of sun glare to make myself feel better.  When the shit hits the fan and the end is just nigh, will you cry out to Heaven? Will you lie down and die? Not me, my dear one - THIS IS MY SACRED LIFE - to no one nor no thing I'll surrender. I'm telling myself it was some kind of sun glare to make myself feel better. when i was a baby i remember my parents stopping our car in the middle of the road because up towards the sun were 2 'super flat clouds' that were perfect rectangles. I remember my parents debating what they were, mentioning the metallic look on the bottom of one that refracted colorful light. They were there for what seemed like a long time but I'm sure it was only 5-10 minutes. Then we drove away and they just kept talking about it and my mom was so excited seeming it was weird to me |
