Post Office doom, USPS can't handle Christmas package surge - massive delays being reported

If you ship priority instead of retail or first class it will arrive much faster

I shipped USPS 50 times this year and only early in the year did i have problems

USPS was involved in election fraud.

Trump needs to take the USPS and give it to ups for all the crimes the USPS did to ups.

They didn't pick up my mail yesterday and I had it in the mailbox at 530 am.

Not sure if they just missed my house or the whole street.

I'm an online seller and I use USPS and I have been dealing with this since last month. I get 3 emails or more daily from people looking for packages that have been held up at some USPS warehouse and have not moved since mid to late November!! It's the worst I've ever seen it by far.

I live in small-town mail usually runs by noon I got my mail at 8 pm yesterday.

This is BS. More rich and government people messing with our lives.

My home mail service has become pretty sporatic.

I have an important mailing that needed to go priority mail. It's been thrashing around the city of origin for a full week since mailing it even though it was scanned last night. I have yet to show a scan where it actually began its two thousand mile journey to the destination.

I wish I'd never mailed it, or just done so via overnight express. It has to go via USPS because it goes to a PO box.

I am jonzing for vape juice, my order is days late.

The USPS is run as if they know there's an inbound meteor coming to destroy the United States.

It's that bad.

Nobody cares there, anymore, or in order to appear as if they care, they focus and harp on the totally wrong things.

They refuse to hire anyone or, if they do, it's an unemployable person.

It is set up to appear as if Affirmative Action is causing this chain of stupidity and racism is allowed to define the situation. And the math checks out, it does, but someone is not only allowing this to happen, they are encouraging it.

It is nothing short of Sabotage or Apathy or both in unison.

Everyday I check on my package its "in transit" "delivery date unknown".

I only ship UPS.

If they have a PO box I ask for a local addy of a friend. No addy, no shipping. I will not use USPS.

USPS voluntarily entered into a contract with Amazon. No fucks given.

It happens every year. This is nothing new.

It's going to a government office. No choice.

I get mail in my mailbox around 8:30 am everyday. EVERYDAY. I have a great maildude. He does not slow down for anything. Love the fact that his punctuality is due to being a hard worker and the lust to go fishing once his route is done. Generally, he is on his boat around noon time. Gotta have motivation in order to make you job worth it. His is having a job where he can make his own hours as long as he gets to work on time.

Everybody beats on the mail guys, but don't forget that the more you are nice to them the more they will go out of their way to get you the correct mail at around the same time daily.

Piss on their parade and you can expect that piss to come right back to you.

As far as your packages being delayed.......thank China for dropping the Covid at our doorsteps and unfortunately your package is at a distribution facility run by liberal unions and they are making sure the Covid is exacting a toll to management. Hence, they are calling out sick, staying home and making sure they aren't spreading it, and just lacklusterly doing their job. There is a huge backlog, but come springtime that backlog will have diminished. Then you might get your vape juice or stupid Christmas gift that you really didn't want or need.
