But you really need a flight stick to enjoy it. Quoting: glp-smilies Lone Echo is also a great space game. The space ones give you the expansive experience that you can’t experience anywhere else. Google Earth is pretty fun too. Oohh this is good I was hoping for some recommendations guys...thank you smilies :) And google earth?? I didn't see that...lol |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 75679511 That is totally out of my realm of knowledge...I will let my son read what you just typed lol Thank you ac it is appreciated. So is that for steam games as well? |

Anonymous Coward (OP) User ID: 77948266 United States 01/03/2021 12:59 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Hey guys...I got an Oculus for Christmas and while it is very cool...(I've played Beat Saber, rollercoasters, and Everest VR) and a few others namely Dash Dash and Dreadhalls... Quoting: Angelseverywhere Those two make me sick after only playing for like 5 minutes...Does the motion sickness ever go away? I've played like 5 times now and it seems like I can go a little longer than before but then it kicks in... But it doesn't' when I'm on the roller coaster or Beat Saber...well perhaps a tiny bit...but I can get through it. Overall though a very interesting experience and life like. I really enjoyed the Everest VR and plan to buy the Egypt one later today :) I got one for Christmas as well. I am a martial artist and train every day , I too experienced some vertigo afterwards . I have the saints and sinners game and have put in a few 2 hour sessions followed by some saber swinging in Vader Immortal. For the first day or two I felt some noticeable discomfort directly after playing . It wasnt long , maybe a couple minutes . I don’t get uneasy anymore directly after , but I have noticed a floating feeling while walking every once in a while . There can be some neck issues over time too ! The headsets are heavy and can cause some soreness near the top of your spine and base of your skull. What an amazing system though ! I LOVE the swordplay in Vader immortal and am looking forward to purchasing some HEMA style games . Swords , shields and spears , sounds fun to me ! Oh wait! I missed this...yes...I have noticed that floating feeling as well. Or the sense of like your still in VR even like a half an hour after. Perhaps that just newbies though lol Yeah that headset is not the lightest. Definitely can be improved in a few areas...which over times I am sure they will work it out. However, I am very happy with it. Thanks for your post Hazmat! |

It allows you to start tricking the biology to accepting VR. a little at a time until you develop a tolerance ... just like everything Last Edited by TheFool on 01/03/2021 09:59 PM ***All in my opinion of course*** |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 79316164 United States 01/03/2021 10:00 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Half Life Alyx is absolutely amazing game. Microsoft Flight Sim 2020 in VR is pretty cool too. Being able to fly over your own neighborhood and look out the window to see your house is fun. Skyrim VR is a must. For the Occulus store: Real Tennis is fun, but hard. Be careful. I ran into a table trying to return a serve, stupid... Golf Club VR is also hard but feels like real golfing. You can play the Medal of Honor game too if you have a decent gaming system. The requirements listed are too high. I have a i7 9700 cpu and a GTX1660ti vedo card, 16GB of RAM: game runs just fine. |

I really enjoyed the Everest VR and plan to buy the Egypt one later today :) I've honestly never experienced any motion sickness while using mine, oddly enough. My whole life I've suffered from migraines, motion sickness, car sickness, vertigo, etc. I felt a little woozy once when I tried a roller coaster, but mostly it's fine. They suggest just closing your eyes for a bit or just taking it off for a while. I was pretty blown away at how good it was the first time I used it, as I thought it would be gimmicky. |
