This interaction was all on video. She was 100% wrong in my opinion.

Also, this was in a prominent NYC hotel. The kid was a guest there with his wealthy father.

The woman had previously lost her phone...saw a black kid with the same phone and immediately accused him of theft and DEMANDED he return it.

Eventually he walked away (as would I based on how she approached the situation). She then tackled him.

She belongs in jail for assault on a minor and possibly a hate crime.

Don’t cops have tech to track where a phone is ? I thought big brother had all that stuff. What gives ? Wasn’t this a case where technology could have solved a problem? Ok I’ll admit I’m not tech savvy but I know there is tech to track a phone ....right? Wouldn’t cops have that tech ?

She was arrested on a fugitive warrant. She had fled to California to avoid prosecution.

They usually highlight race when the offender is white but she isn't white...

The kid was innocent because she left her cell phone in an Uber Taxi, then blamed the kid who had the same brand of phone but not her phone.

Watch the cctv video, she basically tackles the kid while he is walking away. Imagine that’s you, you’re just leaving the store and some stranger starts yelling at you asking to give back her phone then tackles you.

Because he was innocent maybe?!?!

If some crazy woman (or man) accused me of stealing their phone they would have gotten the middle finger and a "FU". And thats it..... unless they then try to tackle me.

Then it would get really bad.
